Dr. Nolan Cabrera was invited by the Ethnic Studies Now Coalition to speak to the LAUSD Board of Education's Curriculum, Instruction & Educational Equity Committee Meeting. LAUSD is the second largest school district in the nation. Dr. Cabrera is a tenured professor at the University of Arizona and flew in for the day from Tucson, AZ to be at the meeting.
