ARE is hosting an update meeting with Ethnic Studies Now Coalition on Wednesday Oct.29! Please join us for this very important presentation on what the Ethnic Studies Now Campaign is doing and discussion on what the next steps are to make Ethnic Studies a requirement for graduation in LAUSD. UPDATE: We have confirmed the participation of high school students, college students, teachers, community members and reps from various organizations at this event. Let's keep up the momentum and continue to build/mobilize so that the School Board knows that there is a lot of support for this movement for Ethnic Studies! We are mobilizing for the Nov. 18th board meeting where they are going to vote on whether or not to make ethnic studies a requirement for graduation! Join us!
