The UTLA Raza Education Committee is formed to protect and advance the human, civil and educational rights of Raza students, teachers, parents and our community members. We believe that education provides the foundation for all political and economic progress and must be a basic right of ALL people.

We believe that as Raza teachers, we play a strategic role, working with youth, parents and community, in fighting for educational justice.
